Dr. Tiedemann joined our team at Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital after spending some time at our Newton and Budd Lake locations. She received her undergraduate from Rutgers University and obtained her Veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After working at a mixed animal practice for two years, splitting her time between small animals and going out for farm calls, she decided to focus on small animal practices. In her spare time, Dr. Tiedemann loves playing soccer, competing in triathlons, spoiling her cat, Sura, and supporting the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles.
Amy is Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital's Practice Manager and has the honor of leading the Bergen Passaic team in providing excellent medical care and superior customer service. Amy has the joy of being involved in every aspect of veterinary care. She is constantly leading her team to go above and beyond with each patient, ensuring that they receive the best healthcare possible. You and your pet can rest assure that she has your pets best interest at heart. When Amy is pulled away from her work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their three daughters, and hound mix, George. She also enjoys cooking, crafting, and painting.
Tracy joined our team at Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital’s Operation Manager after spending seven years at our twenty-four hour hospital, Newton Veterinary Hospital. She attended Montclair State University for English but always knew she was meant to work with animals. Tracy oversees the hospital’s operations and is committed in making our patients and their family’s experience a positive one each and every time. When she is not working, Tracy enjoys hiking, traveling to National Parks with her husband, and spending time with their dog, Bug, and two cats Q and Gulliver.
Shawna joined our team at Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital after spending over two years at our Budd Lake location as a Client Service Representative. Growing up, she always knew that she wanted to work with animals and loves building relationships with our clients and lending a hand wherever needed. When Shawna is not working, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and their dogs; Scrappy, Queenie, and Baloo.
Denisha joined our team at Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital as a Client Service Representative and is studying as a Biology Major to further pursue her career as a veterinarian. She enjoys learning about animal care and meeting all of our patients that come to our office every day. When Denisha is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, their two Siberian Huskies, Rocky and Bella, and going to movies with friends.
Ashley joined our team at Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital after spending seven years at our Budd Lake location and is our Senior Technician. Ashley graduated from the University of Vermont in 2010 with a degree in Art Education, but knew that veterinary medicine was her true calling. She is one of our highly skilled technicians and loves assisting our doctors in surgery. You and your pet can rest assure that they are in caring hands with her. In her spare time, Ashley loves spending time with her pride and joy cat; Ned, hiking, and trips to LBI.
Kim joined our Technician team at Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital and is currently studying at Penn Foster for her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology and to obtain her Certification. She is one of our highly skilled technicians and loves assisting our doctors in surgery. When Kim is not working, she enjoys cheering on the Yankees, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her boyfriend and their two cats Nala and Delilah and their guinea pig Toby.
Jorge joined our Technician team at Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Bergen Community College in 2012. After graduating, he worked in a veterinary hospital in Peru for two years, which enriched his knowledge in the vet field. Jorge’s above and beyond attitude every day is to give it your all and help save lives. When Jorge is not working, he loves spending time with his wife and their two children.
Lois has been Bergen Passaic Animal Hospital’s long time-trusted Groomer and Kennel Attendant of 21 years. She attended Bergen County’s Vocational School for Small Animal Care and NASH Academy of Animal Arts for grooming. She really prides herself in her grooming skills on both cats and dogs; as well as some other small animals. In her spare time, Lois enjoys going to rabbit, poultry, and guinea pig shows and spending time with her guinea pig, Razzmataz, and rabbit, Wobbles.
